The hotel is located in a quiet spot near a castle and a hill, with a Costa Coffee just a kilometer away for refreshments and snacks.

The location was amazing and lovely, close enough to the forest and beautiful gardens and building, beautiful gardens and a great meal in the restaurant with a nice view, in a very very nice area. The very very nice and affable staff gave us a nice welcome.

A charming and calm accommodation set in a lovely location next to the forest, featuring beautiful gardens and a lovely building. Guests can enjoy a fantastic meal in the restaurant with a great view, along with opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. the food is excellent, and the service is wonderful.

Beautiful hotel, in a very nice location, with wonderful view all around. the staff were very worm and helpfull,the brakefast was realy good, rich, with many choices. the hotel it self is very beautiful, and makes you feel good to stay in.

We've booked aroom with bath, and got one with shower, which was very small, and not so comfortable. the blankets were not so pampering.

The location is stunning, surrounded by charming Bavarian villages and offering wonderful views. It’s conveniently located near the monastery, the beautiful forests of Lohr am Main, and the train station. there is a good selection of food choices available.

This was a very nice hotel with great rooms. The waitress in the restaurant (Doggie) was exceptional. We had 3 rooms with a total of 6 adults and everyone was happy with the room and the hotel. They rented bikes and had walking paths. We had a fantastic view across the valley into Lohr from the patio and from our rooms. We felt it was a great value.

We have traveled for 2 weeks and stayed in 7 different hotels across Switzerland and Germany and this was the only one that did not include a breakfast. That was our only complaint.

The king room was cozy and had a shower, a hair dryer, and free toiletries, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.

The breakfast offered is fabulous, providing a great start to the day. the hotel boasts a stunning and magnificent location set amidst the beautiful forests of Lohr am Main. It's situated in a charming building, conveniently near lovely gardens, hills, and the old town center.

The Franziskus is not only a delightful place to take a break, but it is also the set of the cooking and dating TV show "Liebe geht durch den Magen". Adults can relax in the swimming complex, which features a natural bathing pond with a sandy beach, water games, and a bathing lawn with sunbeds. This provides a perfect spot for the whole family to unwind and enjoy some quality time together. the entertainment during our stay from 24th to 28th August was both exciting and moving. We had the opportunity to witness the big duel of the chefs in the Spessart, which was featured in the TV show "Mein Lokal, Deine Lokal". It was a unique and enjoyable experience that added to our overall enjoyment of the hotel.

For dads, it would be great if the hotel offered more children's activities. My children wanted to have more options for entertainment specifically catered to them.

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional, and the room was perfect for our needs. The location of the hotel, situated at the edge of a tranquil forest, provided a peaceful and relaxing environment. The staff treated us with kindness and professionalism throughout our stay.

The breakfast menu could benefit from a wider variety of options.

We visited the swimming complex with the sandy beach and water games. It was like being at a beach party, but in the middle of Germany! And guess what? We even spotted some cute guys from the cooking and dating TV show! It was unreal! Exciting entertainment all week long, we were totally living our best lives!

The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene. We wanted to party and have a good time, but there weren't many options for young party-goers.

We had a fantastic stay at Achat Hotel Franziskushöhe in Lohr. the hotel is spacious, modern, and clean, offering beautiful views of the valley. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring that we had connecting hallways for our family. the hotel's attention to detail is impressive, from the exhibition of old German movie stars in the connecting hallway to the 24/7 TV playing a quaint German movie. the outdoor area with a large chessboard, games, and a man-made swimming lake provided endless entertainment. the restaurant served delicious food, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. we had a great experience and would definitely return.
